LiquorPOS® and MerchantPOS® are designed to be compatible with industry standard computers and peripherals enabling you to choose from a variety of vendors and styles. This enables you to configure a system tailored to your exact needs -- at the lowest possible cost.

Workstation should have at a minimum:
Intel Pentium IV 2.0GHz processor or better
1GB RAM 100MB free on Hard Drive
Battery Backup

Server should have at a minimum:
Intel Pentium IV 2.0GHz processor or better
2GB RAM 500MB free on Hard Drive
Internet Connection for Remote Support
Battery Backup

Additionally: One machine on the network must have a CDROM drive to run the installation CD. If this is a CD-RW, it can also run your backups. A 100-Base T switch instead of a hub is required. It is also neccessary to make sure your switch is also plugged into a battery backup. We recommend you avoid all but the Pentium chips and stick with a quality name brand network card, cable and switch.

Operating Systems:
LiquorPOS and MerchantPOS are compatible with Windows 7 Professional or Windows XP Professional. We do not support Win 7 or XP Home as they do not have the network functionality required to support LiquorPOS or MerchantPOS.
